Normally the season is held during the 4th week of October through mid December. This will be a great opportunity to enjoy some of the best pheasant hunting in North America and also visit one of the breed's greatest cow herds. Rausch Herefords is home to largest concentration of Dams of Distinction (DOD) in the Hereford breed. Also, while in Hoven, you can visit the "Cathedral on the Prairie" St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. This Cathedral is considered one of the most beautiful churches anywhere. This polled daughter of 3027 scanned off the charts with a REA ratio of 118% combined with a IMF ratio of 149% and her first 4 progeny have scanned an average REA of 103% and IMF of 109%. Her first sons by Z80 sold this spring as highlights of the Spring KCF bull sale with Bennett Addition selling for $27,000 to the partnership of Gary Hedrick, Still River Ranch, Innisfail Farm and Roy E. Barnes, a second son also sold for $27,000 to Accelerated Genetics and Upstream Ranch and the third son sold to Joe Waggoner for $10,000.
